Our Team

Pastors Mark and Amy Miltimore came to Hillside Church in February of 2006. Both were raised in the small town of Nekoosa, WI. Pastor Mark has been in full-time ministry since 1985, serving churches in Wisconsin and now Minnesota.  Following high school, he served in the United States Navy for 6 years and later graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN with a Biblical Studies degree. As Lead Pastor, it brings him great joy to see the church functioning and working together, and to see the lives of people changed and the community impacted. When he is not engaged in church work, he has a private pilot’s license and enjoys anything to do with flying, watching the Green Bay Packers and hanging out with family and friends.

Amy has been involved in church ministries from a young age, from serving on worship teams to directing musicals. She presently serves as the Administration Pastor on staff, coordinating many of the different programs that happen at the church. She enjoys traveling and spending time with the family. Mark and Amy have been married since 1990 and have 3 adult children, Hannah and twin boys, Ross & David.

Luke is a Mankato native. Born and raised in the area, he started attending Hillside as a youth student and felt the call to ministry as a junior in high school. He graduated from North Central University in 2019 with a degree in Pastoral Studies, later earning his Master’s in New Testament Studies from Talbot School of Theology (Biola University) in 2020. Luke is passionate about the Bible, theology, and biblical languages. His favorite thing about church is seeing people hear from God by engaging with the Bible. Luke and his wife Hannah love to play board games, hang out with friends, and eat good food! Catch him in the fall cheering for the Minnesota Vikings with his son, Lewis.

Judah grew up in Wisconsin alongside his older sister Emma. His father is a lead pastor while his mom is a second grade teacher. Judah felt the call into ministry in middle school while attending summer camp, so he pursued the call of ministry by attending North Central University and getting a bachelor’s degree in pastoral studies and a master’s degree in strategic leadership. Judah is passionate about biblical teaching and holistic development. Judah recently got married to his wife, Karley, on September 23rd. They both love to be competitive in sports, play some board games, and spend time in the great outdoors.

Randy and Karen Christensen have spent a lifetime doing family-friendly programs at camps, schools, mission outreaches and around the world. Randy has served on various national committees including the Children’s Ministry Advisory Committee for the national Assemblies of God. Randy loves doing creative ministry, building programs that connect families to each other and to God, and being our Children's Pastor at Hillside Church. Nick Beert has lived in Mankato all his life. Nick grew up attending Hillside and began to feel God’s call to ministry on his life as a teen. He began serving and found a deep love and passion for Children's Ministry. He graduated from North Central University in April of 2021 with a degree in Pastoral Studies. Nick is an outgoing person who truly loves connecting with kids and families. He loves being with friends, going to the gym, and playing Clash of Clans.
